]]> As a creative I think that one of my favorite things is getting together with other talented people, pooling the love and creating something beautiful.  When Kate from H&H Weddings asked if I was interested in photographing a styled shoot that was inspired by the idea of a New Year’s Eve engagement party for dapper women I knew I was in!  What I didn’t know to expect was what an amazing crew she had pulled together.  We had such a great shoot and I felt lucky to photograph all the elements of talent that pulled this thing together!  Check out Kate’s great site that provides lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender couples with high end resources to plan and create a one-of-a-kind event.

]]> a long time ago i worked in a restaurant + toby was the sous chef…  then i met his gal, kelli + i liked her a whole lot.  then i photographed their wedding when they got married in a tree house (who’s photo incidentally keeps popping up over on buzzfeed).  fast forward five years + add to their mix just about the cutest three year old ever…. (i’m admittedly partial to 3 yr. old little girls…) on a recent trip back to seattle i did some family photos for them.  + eleanor + my aven hit it off like bff’s in an instant…  + i love that i still get to photograph them all these years later…  (oh…. here’s that treehouse wedding photo of theirs too!)
